Digital collections featured on this page are hosted by the Proctor Library but were created by Flagler College faculty and/or students.

This digital exhibit is the product of a semester-long research project for EDD 349 (Foundations of Education of Deaf/Hard of Hearing) in the Fall of 2024. The student curators picked and researched a topic of interest related to the history of deaf education in the U.S. and Europe. This class project involved learning how to create a digital exhibit (this is the result) and researching how to find and use resources digitally, in the Proctor Library, and at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind.

In collaboration with colleagues at Marineland Dolphin Adventure, Dr. Kelly Enright, and her students, digitized their collections and created a virtual exhibit featuring the history of what is now Marineland from its beginnings in 1938 as Marine Studios. Work on this project began in 2015 and was expanded in 2021-2022 as part of the Digital Humanities Institute at Flagler College.

For 250 years, the Minorcans have been an over-looked part of our cultural heritage and a Florida story of resilience. The Cajuns of Louisiana are their closest historic parallel. This collection provides historic and contemporary Minorcan materials, interviews, photographs, and personal reflections.
Conceived by Professor Laura Mongiovi, this digital exhibit has been created by art students over a period of several years as a way to highlight the cultural impact of textiles on society as found in libraries, archives, and museums around St. Augustine.
