While the Proctor Library's Heritage Collections do not include any medieval manuscripts, we currently have five manuscript leaves in the collection. For access, please contact Miss Owens.

- Matthew 2:1-6, Book of Hours, c.1470, France
- Luke 1:46-55, Book of Hours, c.1475, Bruges, Netherlands, possibly by Willem Vrelant
- Hymn for the Common of a Virgin, c.1600, either Italy or Spain [donated]
Also, in the RBFIR department are facsimiles of the only U.S.-produced illuminated manuscript (1990s). This is the St. John's Bible, and we have all seven volumes.
