PCs and Macs
There are PCs located throughout the first floor of the Library, and Macs in L-311 and L-333. Use your Flagler College credentials to login to these machines. These credentials are the same ones you use to access your College email.
Laptops for Checkout
We currently have 18 laptops that are available to be checked out by students only. Laptops that are checked out will be due back in 2 days. You may renew laptops twice. Overdue fines are accrued at $10 per day until the equipment is returned.
First time users of this service will be required to sign a release form authorizing the Library to charge fees related to late return, loss, or damage to the laptop. You will only need to sign a release form one time each academic year.
Lost or Stolen Item Fee:
Laptops are checked out at our circulation desk on the first floor. Faculty and staff who wish to check out a laptop should visit the IT Help Desk department in L-212.
Phone Charging Stations
We have two phone charging stations on the first floor of the Library. One is next to the Circulation desk and one is on the south end of the first floor.
Scanners
We have two scanners on the first floor, one on each side of the help desk for the Learning Resource Center. These scanners can do color or black and white in a variety of file formats such as PDFs or JPGs. Files can be e-mailed to yourself straight from the scanner or saved to a USB drive.
Printers
All of our computers can print to any printer in the building. You are charged 10 cents per black and white page from your printing account to make prints. Color prints cost 50 cents per page. You receive $50 worth of prints to begin every semester. You may purchase additional prints using a credit or debit card by going to https://print.flagler.edu.
Wireless printing is also available to College affiliates. See https://print.flagler.edu for details.
Headphones
Our Circulation desk on the first floor has headphones available for checkout for 2 days at a time. Please bring a Flagler College ID to the desk to check out a pair.
Off Campus Access to Library Resources
All Flagler College students, faculty, and staff may access our electronic resources from off campus. This includes access to the Library catalog, databases, e-journals, and e-books. When accessing these resources from off campus, please enter the same username and password that is used to access your College e-mail.
Wireless Access
Wireless Internet is available throughout the Library. To access the wireless network, please enter your College username and password, identical to those used to access College e-mail.
