How To Guide (Printing, NYT, WSJ, and Sooth Access, Renewals)

This guide is designed to show Flagler affiliates how to print, renew items, and sign up for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Sooth.fyi.

Renewal Instructions

If you need help renewing your items, feel free to contact the Library staff.

  1. Login to the Library’s Discovery service with your Flagler College email address and password.
  2. In order to use your library account in Discovery, you must consent to the EBSCO privacy policy. If you decline to accept the terms, you will still be able to search Discovery and download articles and e-books, but you will not be able to place book holds or access your account to renew items.

  4. Please note that not all materials can be renewed. If an item can be renewed, you will see a “Renew” link to renew.

  5. A successful renewal will display the following message.

Recalls and Holds

Items with holds or recalls cannot be renewed. Check the chart below to see if your item is eligible for renewal for recall.

RECALLS
In fact, upon receiving a recall notice, the borrower must return the item within 14 days for most items and 5 days for DVDs. Recall notices are sent to your Flagler email address and may shorten a regular due date.

HOLDS
Library materials with holds placed on them cannot be renewed, but the current loan period remains unchanged. At this time, we aren't able to notify a person when a hold is placed on an item they have checked out.  Instead, you will be notified when you attempt to renew online or in person.
